These Terms are an agreement between you and Bag Terminal Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) covering your use of our locker services — whether you book through bagterminal.com or use a locker at one of our physical locations. Please take a moment to read them. By using a locker, you're agreeing to these Terms.
1.The basics
1.1 These Terms cover how you can use Bag Terminal's locker services.
1.2 If you use a locker, you're accepting these Terms.
2.What we offer
2.1 We provide self-service lockers for short-term storage of your belongings.
2.2 The service is unattended — you use the lockers at your own discretion.
3.Your responsibilities
When you use a locker, you agree to:
- make sure your items are suitable for storage
- close and secure the locker properly
- come back and collect your items within your booked time
You also agree not to store:
- anything illegal
- hazardous or flammable materials
- weapons or other dangerous goods
- anything that could damage the locker or other people's belongings
4.Items you can't store
For everyone's safety and convenience, please don't store:
- perishables, including food and drink
- temperature-sensitive items
- fragile items without proper protection
- anything leaking or likely to cause contamination
5.Liability
5.1 You store your items at your own risk.
5.2 We can't be held responsible for:
- loss or damage caused by the nature of the item itself
- spoilage, melting, leaking, or general deterioration
- damage caused by poor packing or user error
5.3 We're also not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business.
6.Insurance
6.1 Items may be covered up to £10,000 per booking, provided you've followed these Terms and the item isn't on our excluded list.
6.2 If you need to make a claim, please:
- include proof of the item's value
- submit your claim within a reasonable timeframe
7.Access and security
7.1 Lockers are accessed using a barcode, QR code, or other system-generated credential.
7.2 You're responsible for keeping your access details private and not sharing them with anyone else.
8.Time and charges
8.1 Charges are based on how long you book the locker for.
8.2 If you don't collect your items within your booked time, additional charges may apply, and we may begin removal procedures.
9.Uncollected items
9.1 If items are left for an extended period, we reserve the right to remove them and charge reasonable storage or handling fees.
9.2 Items that remain unclaimed may be disposed of in line with applicable laws.
10.Service limitations
We can't be held responsible for temporary outages, technical issues, or access delays that are beyond our reasonable control.
11.Things outside our control
We're not liable for events beyond our control — for example, power outages, site closures, or external disruptions.
12.Your data
12.1 We handle your personal data in line with applicable data protection laws. For full details on what we collect and how we use it, please see our Privacy Policy.
12.2 We may share limited data with the partners who help us run the service, such as payment processors and locker hardware providers.
13.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll let registered customers know by email or post a notice on bagterminal.com. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you're accepting the updated Terms.
14.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
